This is the cross of the crossing-over - worn in the years when the old gods and the new faith stood face to face, by people who wouldn't fully let go of either.
Heavy and hand-finished, with the rough, hammered surface of something forged rather than poured. The curling arms and twisted loop carry the look of old iron: blackened, textured, and honest about how it was made.
Underneath that forged finish it's solid stainless steel, so it keeps the ancient weight without the rust. It holds up to water, weather, and daily wear, and the dark, weathered surface only gains character the longer you keep it.
The Viking cross comes from a turning point, the age when Norse belief met the new faith and neither side fully won. Worn at the chest, it stands for holding your ground through change, and carrying where you came from into whatever comes next.
