The blade on this one carries a wolf, raised out of a darkened background, with knotwork curling along the back of the head. The haft is wrapped and textured the whole way up to the ring. It hangs blade down from a braided chain, and it has the balance of the real thing, weight sitting low where the head is.
The axe was the tool every Norse household owned. It felled the trees, cut the timber for the house and the ship, and split the wood that got a family through winter. It also went to war when war came. One tool for building a life and for defending it, and which one it was came down to the man holding it. I make this for the man who is both. The one who puts the work in year after year, and would not think twice if it came to standing up for what he built.

How To Wear & Care +
It fastens at the back of the chain and hangs blade down at the chest. The weight in the head keeps it hanging straight.
The steel asks for very little. Wipe it down now and then with a soft dry cloth and keep it clear of harsh chemicals.
