This one is a pair of wings, folded together and hung point down, with every feather cut in separately so the whole piece has real depth. It catches the light along each row of feathers as it moves. It is a clean shape, larger than most pendants, and it hangs with a bit of weight so it sits still on the chest.
The Valkyries were Odin's daughters, and their task was to move across a battlefield and choose which of the fallen had earned a place in Valhalla. They did not do the fighting. They saw the worth in a man and carried him on. Most of us have been carried at least once, lifted by someone who saw something in us on a day we could not see it ourselves. I make this as a way to keep that close, for the one who was carried, or for the one who did the carrying.

It fastens at the back of the chain and hangs point down at the chest, with enough weight to sit still.
The steel asks for very little. Wipe it down now and then with a soft dry cloth and keep it clear of harsh chemicals.
