The wolf on this one is caught mid-stride, worked in gold against dark steel and set inside a round medallion, with a ring of runes turning around the edge. There is a lot of detail packed into it, the muscle in the shoulders and the reach of the legs. It has weight and it hangs flat, and it holds up close as well as it reads from across a room.
Skoll is the wolf that runs the sky, chasing the sun from the day it first rose. He has never caught it. He runs anyway, gaining a little, closing the gap year after year. That chase is the point of him. A man with something out ahead of him, something he may never fully reach, moves differently than a man with nothing to run at. It fastens at the back of the chain and settles flat at the chest, with enough weight to stay centered.
The steel asks for very little. Wipe it down now and then with a soft dry cloth and keep it clear of harsh chemicals.
