I cast this one in a single solid piece, head and short haft together, with the old knotwork worked across the face. It hangs square and heavy on the chain, a little under two inches tall. It does not swing or spin. It sits where you put it and holds.

Mjolnir is the hammer Thor swung to keep the giants out of Asgard. It was never for show. It was the thing that answered when something came for what he had to protect, and Norsemen wore it close for the same reason, as a ward against harm. I make this for the man who answers. The one who steps in front of the trouble instead of waiting to see how it lands.

I go over every piece by hand before it ships. The corners of the head are rounded, so there is nothing sharp to snag a collar or dig into your skin. You can sleep in it and not notice. There is no hollow zinc alloy under a thin plating here. It is solid 316L surgical steel, the kind that will not tarnish and will not turn your skin green, no matter how hard you sweat in it.
