I cast this one in a single solid piece, head and short haft together, with the old knotwork worked across the face. It hangs square and heavy on the chain, a little under two inches tall. It does not swing or spin. It sits where you put it and holds.
Mjolnir is the hammer Thor swung to keep the giants out of Asgard. It was never for show. It was the thing that answered when something came for what he had to protect, and Norsemen wore it close for the same reason, as a ward against harm. I make this for the man who answers.
