I built this one with heavy, interlocking steel links anchored to thick braided leather. It is a mix of rigid strength and flexibility. The steel sits heavy on the top of the wrist, holding its shape, while the leather wraps close and tight around the rest. It is a piece that carries real presence but moves with you.
The links and clasp are solid 316L steel, so they will not rust, tarnish, or turn your skin. The cord is real leather, not a substitute, so it breaks in and takes on character the more you wear it. Two materials that both get better with age and hard use.
Gleipnir was the binding that finally held the great wolf Fenrir when heavy iron chains shattered. It looked supple, but it was unbreakable. That is what this bracelet is about.
